What this policy covers
Jolliment turns a photo you upload into stickers and animations. That means the service handles pictures of real people, so the rules about what you may upload and what you may create matter more here than on most sites.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Jolliment — guests and people with an account — and it forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it is breaking the Terms. In this policy, “you” means the person uploading a photo or asking for a creation, and “we” means Jolliment.
Jolliment is operated by FENG MINGWANG, a sole trader established in China. Registered address: Room 502, Unit 2, Building 125, Xinxing Paermeina, Ganjingzi District, Dalian, Liaoning 116000, China. Contact: support@jolliment.com
What you must have before you upload
You may upload a photo only if both of these are true:
- The photo is yours, or you have permission to use it. That means you took it, you own it, or the person who owns it has allowed you to use it here. Someone else's photo taken from a social profile, a group chat, a search result, or a stock site without a licence is not allowed.
- Every identifiable person in the photo has agreed. If the photo shows another adult, you need their permission to upload it and turn it into Jolliment creations. If it shows a child, you need the permission of a parent or guardian. If you cannot ask the people in the photo, do not upload it.
The agreement has to be real: someone sending you a photo, or leaving it visible online, is not the same as them agreeing to this use. When the person in the photo is you, no extra permission is needed.
What is not allowed
Do not use Jolliment — and do not ask it to produce results — for any of the following:
- Face swapping or putting one person's face on another person's body or photo. The person whose face you upload must be the person the photo shows.
- Deepfakes and other misleading synthetic media. Do not create images or animations that are made to look like real photographs or recordings of a real person doing or saying something they did not do, or that are intended to deceive anyone about what they are.
- Voice impersonation. Do not use the service, or anything it produces, to imitate another person's voice or to make it appear that someone said something they never said.
- Another person's likeness without their explicit consent. No recreating, editing, or generating images of a real person — including an ex-partner, a colleague, a classmate, or a stranger — unless that person has clearly agreed to this specific use.
- Celebrities, public figures, and other well-known people. Do not upload their photos or generate their likeness, whether or not the result is meant seriously. Their consent is not something we can verify, and we do not accept it.
- Sexual or exploitative content involving minors. Any sexual content involving a person under 18, real or generated, or any sexualised depiction of a minor, is banned outright. We report it.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery. No nude, sexual, or intimate images of anyone — real or realistic — without that person's explicit consent, and none at all of someone under 18.
- Hate, harassment, and threats. No content that attacks or dehumanises people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation, and no content made to harass, intimidate, stalk, or threaten a specific person.
- Illegal content and illegal use. No content that is unlawful where you are, that infringes someone's copyright or trademark, or that is made to help commit a crime, evade the law, or mislead an official process.
- Getting around moderation. Do not try to slip past our checks or another provider's checks — for example by disguising a request, splitting it up, mistyping banned words on purpose, or using an automated tool, script, or proxy to send requests. Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the service, and do not resell it or present it as your own.
This list is not the whole of it. If a use is obviously not what a photo-to-sticker service is for — or would harm someone if it existed — treat it as not allowed.
How we moderate
We may review uploads, requests, and results — with automated checks, with a human, or both — to enforce this policy and to comply with the law and with our payment provider's rules. We may refuse a request, remove a result, cancel a task, limit a feature, or suspend or close access when we believe this policy has been broken, has probably been broken, or is about to be.
We do not check everything before it is created, so content that breaks these rules can still appear. That is not permission: it means we have not seen it yet. Tell us and we will deal with it.
Reporting content or asking for a takedown
If you appear in content made with Jolliment without your permission, or if content breaks this policy or your rights, email support@jolliment.com with the link or the task number, what the problem is, and how we can reach you. If you are writing for someone else, say who you are and why you are entitled to ask.
If your complaint is specifically about copyright — someone used your photo, artwork, or design without permission — our copyright & infringement reporting policy lists exactly what to put in the notice, what we do with it, and how an uploader can respond if they think we removed their content by mistake.
We reply within 2 business days. If the report holds up, we remove the content from our service and, where it is technically possible, restrict the account that made it. Please note what we cannot do: we cannot delete copies that other people have already downloaded, saved, or posted somewhere else. We can only remove what is on our own service and stop it being made again here.
What you get is AI-generated
Every sticker and animation Jolliment produces is generated by AI models, not photographed. Results can be imperfect: faces can come out wrong, details can be invented or missing, and the output can resemble an existing person or artwork by coincidence and may not be unique. Review what you get before you use it or share it.
Do not present a Jolliment creation as a genuine photograph or recording of a real person, use it as evidence that something happened, or use it to identify anyone. If you publish a creation, make clear it is AI-generated where that could otherwise mislead people.
If you break this policy
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, refuse or cancel requests, cancel unspent access, warn you, or suspend or close your access. For the most serious cases — content involving minors, intimate images without consent, credible threats, or repeated abuse — we may act immediately and without a warning, and we may report it to law enforcement or another authority where the law requires or allows it.
Credits are unaffected by an honest mistake: if a generation fails or goes wrong, you are not charged for it, and unused purchased credits stay refundable under our refund & cancellation policy. The exception is unlawful or abusive use: if credits were spent on content or activity that breaks this policy, or an account was used to break it, we may refuse a refund or a restore for those credits.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, the law, or our payment provider's rules change. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Questions about it go to support@jolliment.com, or see the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
